Invitations are underway...

On Monday afternoon I started working on invitaitons. It is a little bit of a time consuming process, but not to terrible! I cut the brown (background) pieces back in April, which helped a lot with time! Monday I print two different things - the invitation wording and the page with hotel info, registry, etc. That evening I started cutting them up (there are 3/page) and was able to get through the invitations themselves and onto the hotel info page. I finished cutting them up Tuesday morning, and now today I am onto assembly! I cut up the ribbons and am going to town...

Done With Flowers!!!

Yesterday, Abbey and I spent most of the afternoon finishing up flowers. I wanted to get them done so that we can move on to our next project...invitations! Things weren't going very smoothly to start with, but a little switch of gears and we finished the remaining 27 in one afternoon! Now...cross your fingers they all stay together and nothing crazy happens! :)

Tuxes!

Well, we finally finalized the tuxes for Todd, the groomsmen and ushers! I took them into Burwell Floral/Bridal Shop on Monday and confirmed everything with Cindy. Now we just need to round up 16 guys to get measured...should be easy enough right!? :-) We shall see by the middle of August who I need to hunt down to still get measured...

Registry #2

Today I went uptown in Burwell to register at a local spot! Our second registry is at Burwell Pharmacy, located on the west side of the square! They have some crystal pieces, photo frames and a few kitchen items!

Brides Bouquet & Boutonnieres

Today we tackled my bouquet and started on the 50+ boutonnieres and corsages we have to do! We did fairly well for not even having an idea with what we were doing for the boutonnieres. It took about 30 minutes to decide what we were doing and then an hour and a half later we had 16 done! We decided that was a good enough start...onto other household chores now to finish out the day!

Bridesmaid Bouquets

Today Abbey and I took on the first major project of flower making...the bridesmaids bouquets! We started about 2 pm and things were going pretty good...we FINISHED them ALL by 4:15! Lets hope the rest of the flower construction goes as smoothly!
